My mom and I had heard of “The Source” and had to check it out for ourselves! It’s definitely a pretty cool place. There are two restaurants, a deli, a brewery, a butcher etc.
We tried “Comida” and it was a great choice. Everything was so flavorful and our taste buds instantly fell in love.
What we tried:
To Drink:
To drink I had a Pineapple Agua Fresca and my mom had the house made Pomegranate Lemonade. Both were delicious and very refreshing…my only complaint was that the refills weren’t free, I would’ve had several of those!
Appetizers:
We started with a delicious Queso which they clearly used the good cheese for it not the velveeta, not that anything is wrong with velveeta, BUT you can definitely taste the difference. We also got Jicama and Cucumbers with lime and chile, and you can’t go wrong with that ever!
Entrée:
Pork Carnitas, Camerones a la Diabla( I don’t usually like shrimp and this was fantastic), Chorizo and Red Onion Escabeche, Bacon and jalapeno griddled taco and the shroom tostada.
Each option was phenomenal and you really cannot go wrong. But my two favorites were the Bacon and Jalapeno griddled taco and the Chorizo taco!
I recommend getting a couple different ones and trying them out, you can’t go wrong!
